Dear Maj James Woods, Thank you for your service as a Tactical Aircraft Pilot, and for graduating from West Point. The 54th anniversary of the start of your tour is 2 days ago. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. It is Presidents' Day Weekend. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance, and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

The “Friends of Rocky Versace” remember one of Rocky's fellow alumni who made the ultimate sacrifice in Vietnam, a USMA 1959 classmate in Cadet Company M-1, USCC when Rocky was in Co. K-2, Major James Clark Woods, USAF, on what would’ve been his 83d birthday - 20 May 2020. Maj. Woods was the son of a USMA graduate (COL Fred Woods, class of 1922).
