Thank You

Dear Lcpl James Wood, Thank you for your service as a Rifleman. Your 55th anniversary is soon, sad. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Happy Valentine's Day. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance, and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

My Cousin, my Hero

Dear Jim, you were not yet 19 years old when our lord called you to his kingdom. I had just turned 7 years old and I'll never forget the day we received the news. I never got a chance to tell you that you were my true hero when I was a young lad. As I grew up I never forgot you and the influence that you've had on my life. Over 40 years of my life was spent wondering what happen to you and how it happened. Then one day we got the answer to my questions, when we read about what happened in a book called Semper Cool. You left a major impression on my life cousin! I've tried to emulate your courage and sacrifice all my life, but I'll never reach the level that you did! Love you forever!

TO JIM FROM YOUR SISTER KATHY

YOUR STILL MY HERO, STILL LOVED AND REMEMBERED! I miss you! we all do!
One day I'm gonna hug your neck and not let go! We won't have to social distance or wear a mask, I'll just see your glowing face. I Thank God that you were my brother here on earth, you always made me proud, and feel safe, and God will help me understand why you had to leave so soon.
Until then, always remembering you Jim.
Love Always, Kathy
