Please let him come home...

Hello my name is Jeanette. I'm 68 years old now and wore Don's pow/mia bracelet for many years. I just now did a google search and found his picture. And info on him. Never been to the wall. Would love too someday. I cry over any footage I see on that terrible war. I grieve for all and always cry. I hope you come home soon. You're a hero. Now I have a picture to the name on my bracelet. God bless you and your family. Thanks for your brave sacrifice.

Bracelet Traveling to Washington, D.C.

My mother wore this bracelet and prayed for Col. Don Wood everyday throughout high school (she graduated in 1971) in Indiana. My son and I are traveling to Washington, D.C. next week and we will wear this bracelet in remembrance of him. We plan to find his name on the Vietnam Memorial Wall. It has been comforting to read on this site from all the other people around the country that have been praying for Don over the years. He seems to have his own little bracelet fan club out there, which is wonderful. Keep his name alive, honor his service and sacrifice, and pray for his family.

God Bless

Dear Col Don Wood, Thank you for your service as a Tactical Aircraft Pilot. You are still MIA. Please come home. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Happy Valentine's Day. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance, and faithfulness, especially now. Be at peace.
