Corporal Howard Hugh Withey, Served with Company A, 3rd Reconnaissance Battalion, 3rd Marine Division, Third Marine Amphibious Force.

Howard was in my home room at Fayetteville High class of 65. I joined the Army in 1968 and for some reason went to Korea instead of Nam. Could have been me on the wall as well. Miss you Howard.

Dear Cpl Howard Withey, Thank you for your service as a Radio Telegraph Operator. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Valentine's Day is soon. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance, and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

I am a Withey too, we may be family, I don't know, regardless I salute your sacrifice brother.
