THE WALL OF FACES

Some may think you are forgotten
Though on earth you are no more
But in our memory you are with us
As you always were before….

I knew Gary well, we attended North Babylon High School together as well as Ascension Lutheran Church. After HS, I worked in a local Delicatessen, while Gary worked in the Deer Park Movie theater next door and came in the Deli often to buy a sandwich. In 1967 I joined the Marine Corps and went to Vietnam before Gary. I was deeply saddened when I heard of Gary's passing. I can also tell you that Gary was liked by all who knew him...he was just that kind of guy. Rest in peace Gary, I know we will see each other again! Gods Speed Brother"! Jim McLaughlin NBHS

Dear Sp4 Gary Winkler, Thank you for your service as a Medical Corpsman. Thank you for the lives you saved. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Valentine's Day is soon. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance, and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.
