Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. You died at 18 years of age. I am 75 and have lived a long and fulfilling life. It is tragic you never had that same opportunity. May you rest in eternal peace.

Dear Lcpl Robert Wills, Thank you for your service as a Rifleman. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. You are remembered. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

Though we have the same name we are our not related. I was 7 when you gave your life in that far away land. l'm sure you were a brave man, I read the letter you wrote to your local news paper, months before you died. How frustrating that must have been for you and all the guys over there. I think of all the life that I have lived since 1968 when you died and I can't help thinking that you you missed all of those years, with family and friends and they with you. Thank you
