Thank You
Dear PFC Steven Willis, Thank you for your service as an Indirect Fire Infantryman. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. You are remembered. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

Remembering Steve working at Roxana store
Our family @ the Willis we’re friends , In Hammond , In , I was about 11 years old when , My dad said he needed to set down with me after I got home from school.
He told me that Steve had lost his life in Vietnam. Maybe me being so young I didn’t completely understand why ! But I do remember him to this day Steve worked at Roxana grocery store
On Michigan street. I can still remember him bagging my moms groceries, my mom would always say something to make him laugh
It’s a memory I’ll never forget about Steve @ mom With Steve’s big smile @ laughter, Moms gone now also I pray one day we will all be togather again to hear the laughter RIP Steve@ my Mom

The best of the best
We were fortunate to have Steven in our platoon. I wrote a book of my experiences and dedicated it to him as follows: Dedication
This narrative is dedicated in memory of Steven Willis who died on patrol, after volunteering...
He was a giving person and never complained even when things got tough. I was devastated to hear from my Battalion Commander of his death. The good of us get to go to heaven early.
