Thank You

Dear Sp4 Malcolm Williams, Thank you for your service as a Welder. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. MLK birthday weekend just passed. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance, and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

Two young men

In the late 60s Mike (Malcolm) and I worked together as Ironworkers and became friends. After the job was over we went on different projects and lost touch but I never forgot him and that smile. I continued to ask about him and was told he went to Nam and was killed. I was very, very sad and made a promise to visit the Wall in DC and did, made a tracing and cried for my friend. I continue to think about you Mike when Nam is mentioned and wonder what you would be doing now if.......
You will never be forgotten to me Malcolm (Mike) Williams, I salute you as a true American hero and patriot. If there is a life hereafter I want to sit and talk and talk and talk.

Remembering An American Hero

Dear SP4 Malcolm George Williams, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir

Curt Carter
