I Will Remember You Always!!!!!
Rick,
I knew you but I didn't know you. I still remember the day you were killed. You were on a high mountain near the Cambodian Border. You and your company were ambused (Plei Doc)by the NVA. I came to your rescue that day. I was with "B" company. Your CO also was killed on that day. I remember the sniper shooting him between the eyes and that triggered the Ambush.

Thank you
My name is Heidi Finck and I just thought I’d write you a note of gratitude. I think you are a very brave human being. There aren’t many people who can be like the person you are, a hero. It’s not easy to be a hero either. You had to go through many rough and terrible conditions and you did all that in thought of your country. You are a greatly respected person and I thank you.
