I will never forget Sargent Wilder. Alpha Company 4/31st 196th Light Infantry Brigade , 1968/1969. He was a true leader , always made decisions that would be ok with us . Had our safety in mind all the time . His memory is with me forever !

Sargent Wilder You were a great leader , under your command I felt safe, I looked up to you and you gained my respect . I think of Vietnam almost daily and of you, i never contacted any of the men in our platoon with one exception. Rest in place Sarge.
