OPERATION MACON

I served with Ray in 81 mortars attached to K company 3/9 on Operation Macon July 4,1966 were we got outnumbered&encircled&pinned down for 18 hrs.!Ray went above &beyond in his heroic action,but unfortunately was KIA!He was a hero&a better man!
