To Family and Friends
I knew Jim when he was stationed at Chase Field, Beeville, Texas. He wasn't there very long but the few short months I knew him he became very special to me. I remember him on his birthday and on this day every year since he has been gone. He was very proud to be serving his county and so happy when he finally received his Wings and could fly Jet Planes. To his family and friends I want you to know that someone else out here remembers Jim and the sacrifice you made for our country.

God Bless, Cousin!!!

Remembering An American Hero
Dear LTJG James Lewis Brewer, sir
As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.
May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.
With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir
Curt Carter
