WERE YOU WITH MY BROTHER?
My brother, Daniel Leon Wallace, was killed in Viet Nam on March 2, 1970, in the same province as you. I know he was with other soldiers. Would love to hear from family members of yours. RIP. Thank you for your ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. VV Never Forgotten

We Nam Brothers pause to give a backward glance, and post this remembrance to you, one of the gentle heros lost to the War in Vietnam:
Slip off that pack. Set it down by the crooked trail. Drop your steel pot alongside. Shed those magazine-ladened bandoliers away from your sweat-soaked shirt. Lay that silent weapon down and step out of the heat. Feel the soothing cool breeze right down to your soul ... and rest forever in the shade of our love, brother.

I would like to thank you for the sacrifice that you gave for the betterment of all mankind. I am indebted to you for this sacrifice that you gave, for you protected me and millions of other people. You were unselfish and you are more than deserving of respect from all those that you fought for. Thank you for bravery. You were a fine soldier.
