He was the most wonderful friend. He gave me an Engagement Ring right before he went to Nam. I loved him dearly. We kept our secrets.

Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. The remembrance from Donald Brown, posted almost exactly ten years ago, is moving and reflects his admiration and respect for you and all others who served during this war. As long as you are remembered you will remain in our hearts forever.

Dear Lt David Whitehill, Thank you for your service as a Tactical Aircraft Pilot. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. It is the 3rd Day of Christmas, Merry Christmas. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance, and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

Taught me how to snow ski in New Mexico. We would drive over on weekends from Lubbock.
