Remembering An American Hero
Dear PFC Raymond White, sir
As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.
May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.
With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir
Curt Carter

We Still Remember
Billy, we still miss you in Slocomb. The family will always remember. I just saw another post that you have a grandson, Raymond's son. I haven't seen Raymond since Aunt Lucille's funeral, but I hope he tells his son stories of how proud everyone was (and still is) of you.
To the grandson, I'm sure Billy would be as proud of you and love you as much as I knew he did your father.

Grandson
This is my Grandfather that I never had the chance to meet him. But if he was anything like his Son "Raymond White Jr" (My Father) then I know he was a great man...
