Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. It is fitting that you were honored by having your hometown pool named for you. May you rest in eternal peace.

Thank you for your service and your sacrifice. Thank you for stepping up and answering your country's call. You gave everything you had to give. Rest easy knowing you will never be forgotten.

Dear PFC Bresnahan,
Thank you for your service as a Rifleman. Semper Fi. Independence Day is approaching, and it is important for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

There are certain days of the year, celebrations, and losses that names and faces come to mind. There is always a feeling of regret that comes along with your name and face. A regret that you were not able to grow into the fine man I know you would have become. A regret that I had lost a friend forever.
Thank you for being true to your beliefs, having the courage to live those beliefs every day you were here.
