Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. We should be forever thankful for the sacrifices of you and so many others to ensure the freedoms we so often take for granted.

Dear Sp4 Vernon Whetham, Thank you for your service as an Infantry Operations & Intelligence Specialist with the 43th Scout Dog Platoon. I researched you on your 55th anniversary, sad. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. It's the last week of Advent, and Christmas is soon. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance, and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

I leave Roses at the wall each year for you, the year Mother passed, I left two, one for each of you. Together, again...... Think about you often and one day when we get to meet again, I want to get a big hug and to say thank you for all you have done for us, if you only knew, but I guess you already know..... Love you and see you one day, again~
