GENE and I were raised together in ...Pineville La......................we lived 2 houses from each other....He and I as Boy Scouts in Pineville ...would place flags on the graves of soldiers buried in the National Cemetery ...where he is today.....buried within walking distance from where we were raised... I visit him 2/3 times a year....and on his birthday September 2nd.....
