Lt Brenning ……Respected
Sir. I was the PO Photographer manning the bubble, taking videos on the day your Jet crashed into the Gulf of Tonkin. I watched in awe as the canape flipped off while you were trying to “punch-out”. I see that terrible occurrence a few times a month in my flashbacks. I awake in a sweat sometimes with tears. A Hero, that served his Country, my Country, with Honor, that took his life. I pray we meet on the other side….. and I will shake the hand, of a man that’s life was taken all those years ago in service of the United States of America.
Welcome Home Brother
Bless You…..

A Life Ended Too Soon
Rich, it was 50 years ago today you left us. I was heartbroken that day in Lincoln, coming off of cruise, when my parents gave me the unfortunate news. I think of you often; I visited you on The Wall last January, tears in my eyes. I have a lump in my throat as I write this. You were the best...Rest in peace, my friend....
