I was a fellow crew chief with Donald among a lot of other guys in our unit. We had lots of fun after days flights were over. I’ll never forget him and I understand he took over my ship when I left country, they sent me down to Cham Rhan for Bay early in October or late September

I'm not a healthcare professional with two beautiful children, and I think about you now and then. Thank you for your service. I'll see you and Dad down the road. Dear Sp4 Donald Wester, Thank you for your service as a Flight Qualified UH-1 Helicopter Repairer. I researched you on the 55th anniversary of the start of your tour. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. It is Advent, and Christmas is soon. Time passes quickly.
