THE WALL OF FACES

Private First Class William Robert Brennan, Served with the Reconnaissance Platoon, Company E, 2nd Battalion, 39th Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade, 9th Infantry Division, United States Army Vietnam.

As we grew up in a large family and my parents barely making ends meet. Bill was drafted. i looked up to him and was expecting to see him on his return from vietnam. however, after being in vietnam with the us army he was masacarred. other army unitsa reprted local gunfire. however, the army officer in command of the patrols we told to disregard it. the unit was amushed and shot through the head after they were dead. then they were weighted down in a artillery hole filled with water. obviously an attampt to hide the chineese army hiding their success. this is another sad situation of a young american being slaughtered in a political conflict.

May those who served never be forgotten. Rest in peace PFC. Brennan, I salute your brave soul. My heart goes out to you and your family.
