William "Skippy" Wells
Skip and I have been friends since we were both 6 years old. In all that time I never once saw him get angry or raise his voice in anger. He was always friendly with every one and was genuinely an easy going guy. He was awarded the Silver Star medal for valor in Viet Nam. There are only 2 awards higher than that, the Navy Cross and the Medal of Honor.

William "Skip" Wells
Skip was one of finest people I've ever known. Our school burned in 1963. He broke out a window, severely cutting his arms but continued to help rescue others.
Gone far too young.
