Thank You

Dear Lt Larry Welch, Thank you for your service as a Field Artillery Unit Commander. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Advent has begun. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance, and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

Remembering An American Hero

Dear 2LT Larry Eugene Welch, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, Sir

Curt Carter

Uncle I never met

Uncle Larry,

I never had the chance to meet you, but words cannot express how proud I am of you. Thank you for being so brave and serving our country. Not a day goes by that I don't think of you and how I so wish I could have had the opportunity to meet you. My father, your brother, was only 10 young years old when you were killed in action.
You are thought of and prayed for every day. Much love to you in heaven!
Your neice,
Shannan Welch Fugate
