honoring you...

Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. The remembrance from fellow soldier Paul Sibert is poignant. As long as you are remembered you will remain in our hearts forever....

We were star gazers

Tommy and I use to gaze at the stars during Tet a few kilometers west of Hue. We could not agree on which were the big and little dippers. I remember we spent a few of our nights together in a cemetery sleeping next to a mounded grave surrounded by a wall about two feet tall. This provided some protection from incoming rockets and mortars. He was a good man and I think of him these many years later.

Thank You

Dear Spec 4 Brehm,
Thank you for your service as an Indirect Fire Infantryman. I did the research on you on your birthday. God bless. Independence Day is approaching, and it is important for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Remembering An American Hero

Dear SP4 Tommy Joe Brehm, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, Sir

Curt Carter
