War drew us from our homeland
In the sunlit springtime of our youth.
Those who did not come back alive remain
in perpetual springtime -- forever young --
And a part of them is with us always.

Dear PFC William Weber, Thank you for your service as an Infantryman. I researched you on your 74th birthday, happy birthday. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Thanksgiving is soon. Happy Thanksgiving. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

We played football together at Lincoln Central. I arrived in Vietnam 7 days before Bill was killed. I spent 26 months there. I was lucky. I'm 72 years old now. I gave some, Bill gave all.

I was never able to meet you, you died more than 11 years before I was born. I try and honor you and all those that have lost their life as well as all those who have served and lived. May your and and every other sacrifice never be forgotten!

I have only a few very early memories of Billy, as my Grandma Pearl called him. So young to have given his all for our country
