To the family of 1Lt Wax, I have been trying to locate a family member for sometime. I would love to talk with you to see how you have done over the past 37 years, to see if you have had contact with any of the families of the other three crewmen, and to see if you have or know of any photos of the crew and their plane. You have always had a special place in my heart. I look forward to hearing from you at the email address provided. brbrForever grateful,brKathy Crisp Webb

***** i talked to dave and his crew just minutes before they were sent out into the dark to try to land on a dirt strip up at tuy hoa. no runway lights, just 5 gal. cans of burning kerosene along one side. no maps with elevation available in that area. i wish they had been sent to fly there next morning in the daylight. a terrible unnecessary loss.
lowell schroeder - pilot in same squadron
***** I miss you - Dave was one of my closest friends during Nam.I was in the aircraft just ahead of him when he got hit by ground fire. But for a few clicks of the clock it might have been me. The hardest thing I have ever done was pack up your stuff to send home. I have missed you Dave. You helped make Nam bearable.
