Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. We should be forever thankful for the sacrifices of you and so many others to ensure the freedoms we so often take for granted.

SSG Henry L. Watts Sr. was a Military Assist Command Vietnam (MACV) advisor serving with Advisory Team 89, Headquarters, MACV Advisors. Watts served as an indirect fire (field artillery and mortars) instructor. On May 10, 1971, Watts was at the Dat Do MACV Compound, ten kilometers (6.0 miles) east of Phuoc Le in Phuoc Tuy Province, RVN, when he suffered a fatal heart attack. He was thirty-eight years old. Dear SSgt Henry Watts, Thank you for your service as an Indirect Fire Infantryman/Instructor. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Thanksgiving is soon. Times flies. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.
