Ground Casualty
SSG Henry L. Watts Sr. was a Military Assist Command Vietnam (MACV) advisor serving with Advisory Team 89, Headquarters, MACV Advisors. Watts served as an indirect fire (field artillery and mortars) instructor. On May 10, 1971, Watts was at the Dat Do MACV Compound, ten kilometers (6.0 miles) east of Phuoc Le in Phuoc Tuy Province, RVN, when he suffered a fatal heart attack. He was thirty-eight years old.
