In memory of my Father Staff Sergeant James C. Washington Jr, killed in Vietnam under questionable conditions. Also remember ing his Mother Louise Washington, who died within day after hearing of her son death.

Dear SSgt James Washington, Thank you for your service as a Material Storage & Handling Specialist. Your 52nd anniversary is soon, sad. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Veterans’ Day is soon. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance, and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

Although I never had the chance to meet you I know what type of man you were. As today is my birthday you were on my mind. I am the daughter of your daughter. I see my uncles in your face. I could only imagine how things would be if you were still here but you were a HERO risking your life for others. I love you and one day I will give you the biggest hug.
