Currahee

I met Mike at Ft Campbell when reporting to A Co. 3506 101st Airborne in July of 1967. We served together in the third platoon until the battalion was split up to avoid a mass rotation in 1968 from Vietnam. I heard of his death from felllow soldgers. He was a real soldger and I am honored to have known him.

A Hero Remembered

Michael,
This year my 8th grade students have begun work on a project to put faces with the names of each of the 1159 men from the state of Wisconsin who are listed on "The Wall." It is our hope that through your picture your legacy will live forever.

Thank you for your service to your country and for your sacrifice.

You are not forgotten.
