THE WALL OF FACES

Say not in grief he is no more, but live in thankfulness that he was.

Our family and the Warren family attended the Edmonds-Lynnwood Christian Church and I remember Galen from there. He was a little older and the first from our youth group to serve. He led the way for several of us who followed. Blessings and thank you for leading the way. I have found your name on the wall and tell your story.

Dear HN Galen Warren, Thank you for your service as a Hospitalman with the 9th Marines, Semper Fi. Thank you for the lives you saved. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Veterans’ Day is soon. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance, and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

Galen and I were classmates in 3rd grade at Paramount Park Elementary School in Seattle, Washington. Later we were high school classmates at Shorecrest High School, (Class of '64). You are a true hero and may God bless you. Thank you for your sacrifice. It can never be repaid, but you will never be forgotten as long as the Wall stands.

As your 75th birthday approaches, your sacrifice is not forgotten.
