Thank You
Dear SSgt John Ware, Thank you for your service as a Flight Qualified UH - 1 Helicopter Repairer. You are still MIA. Please come home. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Veterans’ Day is soon. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance, and faithfulness, especially now. Be at peace.

I was given his POW/MIA bracelet when I was a little girl. My father served in Vietnam so that bracelet was extremely important to me. To this day I have never forgotten his name and copied it when I went to the war memorial on tour just to see it. To his family he will never be forgotten!

Always in Our Family's Thoughts
John was my mother's first cousin (Marcia Diane Dixon). We were just talking about him last night, and when I did a "Google" search on his name, I found this wonderful site. I'm so pleased to read about all of the 'bracelet wearers' and how much of an impact wearing them has had on their lives. His death connects us all in a way that is hard to put in words. I know everyone's thoughts and prayers helped his mom as she grieved, and I know the two of them are together once again in heaven. His sacrifice will never be forgotten.
