Third Generation Honors Bev
In 1963 Bev and I went to President Kennedy's funeral, I have a photo of him at the Capitol with the flag at half mast. Today, 4-7-23, my grandson, Samuel Calderon, honored him by doing a rubbing at the wall. He sent me this photo because I was unable to go on a planned family trip. It's important to me and to Samuel to remember Bev's sacrifice!

“BEV”
What a great friend and truly very special. I was Bev’s brother, Jim’s age. Bev was a year younger but we hung out, played and laughed together. He was a great student and loved sports. I think of him quiet often. He was a real “American Hero” he made the ultimate sacrifice. RIP. Thanks for helping to keep all Americans safe.

My Best Friend was Bev Ware. We grew up together living next door to him my first 13 years
Will greatly miss my Best Friend Beverly Costner Ware. As children, we would act out playing war during the Korean War. We were both in the Marching Band at Mt Holly High School. He played the Trumpet. He also played on the school baseball team. Last saw him at Christmas, 1968, before he headed to Vietnam to serve his country. At the time, I was serving in the U.S. Air Force, home on leave, and while home for Christmas, visited this great guy. Will always think of him. 50 yrs today, he died April 26, 2019 Will visit his resting place today to honor his life and his ultimate service to his Country that he loved so much. May God Bless You Forever. Your buddy. Leo
