Funeral services for Marine Corps Private First Class Jimmy Lee Ward, 20, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday at the Flahiff Funeral Chapel here.

PFC Ward, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Hardy Ward of Caldwell, was killed in the Vietnam War on 30 November 1967 in the vicinity of Quang Tri.

Full military honors will be furnished by personnel from Mountain Home Air Force Base and from the Marine Corps headquarters in Boise.

Interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.

PFC Ward was born on 1 May 1947, in Nampa, and had lived all of his life in Canyon County before joining the Marine Corps.

He attended school in Caldwell and at Vallivue High School.

He also served with the National Guard unit before entering the regular service.

In addition to his parents, of Calwell, he is survived by two sisters,

Mrs. Pamela Price of Nampa

and

Mrs. Sandra Fivecoat of Caldwell

his grandparents

Mr. and Mrs. B. W. Ward

and

Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Little

all of Nampa

and

a great-grandmother

Mrs. Lena Harper of Nampa.
