High School

Jeff, I remember our time and classes together in high school. We fondly referred to you as "Weed". I was shocked to hear that you had died so soon after high school. I entered military service in 1969-71 but was fortunate not to go to Nam. You have been in my thoughts many times since your passing. Semper Fi Marine.

Thank You

Dear Lcpl Jeffrey Walsh, Thank you for your service as a Rifleman. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart . Halloween is soon. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it still needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

A Dedicated US Marine

Remembering Jeffery Michael Walsh as a dedicated U S Marine who gave his all in the Vietnam War and as a classmate of our Class of 1967 in Bethel Park Pennsylvania 15102. Jeff was a fun loving guy in high school with many friends who also cared and miss his smile and humor. Jeffery Michael Walsh is one of three casualties of the Vietnam War from our hometown of Bethel Park, Pennsylvania.
I also served in the Vietnam War 1969 & 70 as a radioman on board the Navy Supply Ship USS Niagara Falls AFS3. I offer my personal respect and prayers to Brother Jeffery Michael Walsh and his family.

52 years later

We graduated from BPHS in ‘67. He spent hours in my backyard playing hoops. I was lucky enough to get out for college and demonstrate against the war. But ever since the Memorial was built, when I’m in DC,I have made sure to rub my palms over my friend’s name in admiration.
