Ground Casualty
PFC Michael E. Walker was a Food Service Specialist serving with D Company, 1st Battalion (Mechanized), 50th Infantry, 173rd Airborne Brigade. On June 27, 1968, Walker drowned while recreational swimming in Binh Dinh Province, RVN. His body was recovered. Walker was posthumously promoted to Corporal. [Taken from coffeltdatabase.org]
