PFC Jerry W. Brannock was a Heavy Vehicle Driver serving with the 360th Transportation Company, 24th Transportation Battalion, 124th Transportation Command, Army Support Command Cam Ranh Bay, 1st Logistical Command, U.S. Army Republic of Vietnam. The 24th Transportation Battalion arrived in South Vietnam on June 24, 1966, as part of the second large build-up of troops following 1965’s initial deployment.
