we will remember them.....

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.

YOU ARE NOT FORGOTTEN!

Dear Specialist 4 Vinciguerra ~ You Are Not Forgotten!
This is the 3rd year, on the anniversary of your passing, that I ran a mile with you in my thoughts and prayers. Rest in Peace, Dear Brother.

Each year since September 2015, at the annual 5th Division Army reunion, members of the Society of the Fifth Division, U.S Army remember the 514 soldiers from the 1st Brigade, 5th Division, who were Killed in Action in Vietnam. You are among the soldiers remembered. You Are Not Forgotten!

Cherished Neighbor

You are Not Forgotten, Jimmy Vinciguerra !
You were our next door neighbor, Corner of Eaglenest and Megglen Ave.
Your Parents were Wonderful and We miss them and You !
Steve was our oldest brother and your friend, and heartbroken when you died. He himself is gone now too , perhaps your friends up there in heaven !
My Mother was Virginia and My Dad Bob Kelly.
I'm Peggy, the youngest, I was very young back then, But I remember you !
We never forgot you and would go to the Park in the neighborhood, where they planted a Tree for you, there ( 2nd picture).
God Bless you Jimmy !

Remembering Jim Vinciguerra

Hey Jim. The comments here are heart-breaking. I didn't hear about your death until after I was back stateside at another duty station in Jan '70. You were always in harm's way every day and I spent my days in the rear near Phu Bai for which I've always felt guilty. I think about you and those from my unit who died in Vietnam. Since then, I worked years for VA, everyday serving those who served and remembering those who didn't make it back. God Bless you, Jim!
