10 year Celebration of Venable Village

On Saturday,Apil 30, 2005 there was a 10 year anniversary celebration at Venable Village Elementary School a school named for CSM Venable at Fort Hood, Texas.
Many family members were present. A plaque was presented to the school by Joseph Venable Jr.

Uncle Alvin

I remember uncle Alvin from the first time I met him at Fort Hood, Texas in 1965, He was a great military man, and also a great father. I also remember how much he liked his swagger stick. Thank God for Uncle Alvin.
