Dear Cpl Mark Vasquez, Thank you for your service as a Rifleman. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart . Autumn has begun. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it still needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

I sat next to Mark at Suva school in Bell Gardens.
We moved away, but I've always remembered him.

Mark and I grew up together. Our brothers and sisters were friends, so we did a lot with each other. So many of them are gone now, never forgotten. I will always miss you Mark.
