I served with Julio. We were both at Camp LeJeune NC. We we were both in 2-2-2 Marines. I loved him like a brother. I gave his mother his awards and medals when I came home after a brief leave from our home base. He and and I went thru a lot in the Marines. We both tested and made the S/2 by scouts Intelligence division. I was briefly seperated from him, even after we both finished our tour in Guantanamo Bay Cuba. There was no greater guy that I knew was a true honest and faithful friend. I think of him all the time. I wish he would have had children. He would have been a great father. I cry a tear for Julio every time I think about my past. God bless Julio and his Mom and rest of his family. Peace brother.

Dear Cpl Julio Vargas, Thank you for your service as a Rifleman. Your 56th anniversary is soon, sad. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart . Autumn begins today. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it still needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.
