honoring you.....
Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. I am heartened you returned home after the passage of so many years though I wish it had been under very different circumstances. May you rest in eternal peace.

Thank You
Dear Maj Woodrow Vaden, Thank you for your service as a Tactical Aircraft Pilot. Glad you were identified in 2010. Welcome Home. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. It is the anniversary of 9/11. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it still needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

You son, Mike Vaden
I remember Mike talking about you in college. I tried to find Mike, about six months ago. Sadly he is gone. Thank you for your service!

Thank You!
When I was sixteen, my uncle who also served in the Air Force, gave me a MIA-POW bracelet with your name on it. I wore it until the paint and name wore off, and I still keep it in a special place today.
When the Moving Wall came by, I made it a point to stop by and tell you hello. I have carried a soft spot in my heart for you since I was a little girl.
A couple of years ago, my family visited the Wall in DC, and I once again visited you. I can't tell you how happy I was when I found out you had been found and brought home.
I know I don't know you. I know I never will, but I want to thank you for the life you lived and gave for your country. You will always be in my heart, and always be remembered as long as I draw breath.
Thank you!
