My Friend
We were both young, I went off to college and you my friend went off to war. I remember being sad that I wasn't home when you got married..but you couldn't wait..you had a war to fight. I didn't start out doing a search of casulties from the Vietnam War..but somehow I found myself at a site that listed all of those who died in Vietnam. Then I thought of you, my friend..who died so young, before you even had a chance to really experience life. I just want to add my name as someone whose life was touched by you.
