honoring you....

War drew us from our homeland
In the sunlit springtime of our youth.
Those who did not come back alive remain
in perpetual springtime -- forever young --
And a part of them is with us always.

Thank You

Dear PFC Kevin Tweedle, Thank you for your service as an Infantryman. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. It is Labor Day weekend. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it still needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

After all these years

After all these years...(48 years) I was thinking of you today, Tweedle. I was remembering you and your sacrifice. The carefree days in Bay City seem so long ago... You were a fun guy to know... We weren't the best of friends but still a friend I will never forget.... ever !!! I salute you!!!

Thank You for Your Servive and Sacrifice

I don't know Kevin Tweedle but I met his brother John Tweedle in a grocery store in Modesto, California. John was wearing his Vietnam Veteran Ball Cap and we were Vietnam Veterans in the US Navy and during our discussion he had told me about his brother Kevin. God Bless Kevin and all of our fallen.

Remembering An American Hero

Dear PFC Kevin Edward Tweedle, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir

Curt Carter
