THANKS

DEAR SERGEANT BRADLEY,
THANKS FOR YOUR SERVICE AS AN INFANTRYMAN. TODAY IS MEMORIAL DAY, BUT ON ALL DAYS WE SHOULD HONOR YOU. IT HAS BEEN FAR TOO LONG FOR ALL OF YOU TO HAVE BEEN GONE. WE APPRECIATE ALL YOU HAVE DONE, AND YOUR SACRIFICE. WATCH OVER THE U.S.A., IT STILL NEEDS YOUR COURAGE. GOD BLESS YOU. MAY THE ANGELS BE AT YOUR SIDE. REST IN PEACE. YOU ARE ALL IN OUR PRAYERS.

Busch Hat

I served in the same company as Stanley in VN and when I returned from R&R with a Busch hat from Australia he wanted to buy it from me and send to a brother. I declined selling it several times and finally sold it to him just a few weeks before 3/28/69. When I think about the situation today I am so glad he got the hat and was able to send it back home. I have looked him up on the VN wall each time I visit with this story echoed in my mind.
