we will remember

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.

Thank You

Dear Cpl Edmund Travis, Thank you for your service as a Field Artillery Cannoneer. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. It is Agent Orange Awareness Month. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it still needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

The Travis Brothers Gave Everything For You and Me
The Class of 64, that's what we were. You were just a couple of weeks from coming home, then everything ended that night. Marilyn and you were going to be married that fall. Your family had already lost their home to fire two years before your death. You just tried to be a good American Bill, like alot of us. I was in Chu Lai when I heard that you were killed. I wish I could have been there for you Mom and Dad. I was there for Mike's funneral though. THAT'S RIGHT READERS, THIS FAMILY LOST TWO SONS TO THE WAR IN VIET NAM. Michael, your brother was killed outside of DaNang almost a year to the date from your death. God Bless You Bill. Thank you for your sacrifice. Semper Fi. AMERICAN'S will NEVER FORGET WHAT YOU GAVE THEM,"YOUR LIVES".......REST IN PEACE

Remembering An American Hero

Dear CPL Edmund Burke Travis, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, Sir

Curt Carter
