We Will Remember
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.

At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.

THANKS
DEAR SPEC 5 JAMES BRADLE,
THANKS FOR YOUR SERVICE AS AN UNIT SUPPLY SPECIALIST. IT IS MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND, BUT ON ALL DAYS WE SHOULD HONOR YOU. IT HAS BEEN FAR TOO LONG FOR ALL OF YOU TO HAVE BEEN GONE. WE APPRECIATE ALL YOU HAVE DONE, AND YOUR SACRIFICE. WATCH OVER THE U.S.A., IT STILL NEEDS YOUR COURAGE. GOD BLESS YOU. MAY THE ANGELS BE AT YOUR SIDE. REST IN PEACE. YOU ARE ALL IN OUR PRAYERS.

James Bradle August 1970
Bunker guard, LZ Bronco; near Duc Pho, Quang Ngai. I was assigned to 60, Bradle 61. Set out ammo, M-60's, claymores; the usual. Heard very close shot, everyone went to the weapons as we had firing in the area frequently (I was sniped at twice one night, near misses.) OD came w/medic, nothing could be done. Really did not believe it was self inflicted. Whole unit upset of course.
