I served with SFC Arthur Bradberry company A 3rd Bn. 12th infantry 4th Infantry Div.

He was a pleasure to be around I enjoyed many evenings talking over all kinds of events. This particular trip was to chopper to this hill location. I believe hill 909
Setup a perimeter and support a Artillery unit companies B, C, And Delta we’re going to sweep areas toward us . We were not supposed to see any Enemy action ???
But when we landed we encountered about sixty VA had a fire fight and captured 15
About a week later I was wounded March 9th many months later while in the hospital
I learned that the company had encountered a large group of enemies and I thought it was the 17th but it might have been on March 30, 1969 when in encountered hostile fire KIA
Arthur has been in my thoughts all these years and I will never forget our time together serving with many in the 4th infantry Division.
RIP.
