I shared your last breath.

You were point that day. I, and Carson I think, went up front when the medic was called and dragged you back to the dike. MedEvac came soon after we called and you were gone. Radio later told us you had passed on the table. Your youth and "boombox" will always be in my memory. Blessed be.
