Our Leader and Mentor
I was a young USF cadet under Art's leadership. He was taken from us just before I was commissioned and sent off to VN. It was his training and guidance that allowed me succeed in airborne and ranger school and
in VN. I only wish I had a chance to have known his family. I remember Art twice a year when I visit the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall on Veterans and Memorial Day.

Salute to you, my friend
So long ago...but never forgotten.
Still have the little photo of you and Michael at the zoo.
Oh The fun we used to have at the teen club and those weekends I spent with Margo! She and I were friends till the end.
Miss you both to this day.

Thanks Tim
We knew each other from the Presidio and activities on post. I went to Geo Washington and knew Margo also. I went into the service in '62 and was a paratrooper also but I was sent to Germany. Thanks for your sacrifice. I think of you often. I think I'll stop by the Wall when it comes to San Francisco in April and say hello.
