Thank you from the daughter of Col. William James Thompson

Thank you all for honoring those who sacrificed so much. For those that have my fathers braclet it would mean more to me if you would keep it and pass down to you own children so that the memory of our soldiers would live on.
May they never be forgotten.

I too, wore your bracelet.

I proudly wore your bracelet! I keep it safe and have shared the memory of our POW/MIA bracelets with each of my children. I found your name on the wall when I visited DC. I pray that you have peace in heaven.

I find it ironic how a person that I never even met had such an impact on my life.

Remembering An American Hero

Dear Colonel William James Thompson, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir

Curt Carter
